Job Description

• Perform daily satellite ground system checks using Infrastructure as Code tools like BASH, Ansible, and PowerShell
• Develop scripts to assist with improving system reliability and cyber compliance
• Participate in the installation, configuration, licensing, and verification of various applications on Linux or Windows environments within the Missile Defense Space Center
• Investigate and troubleshoot software issues, providing user support to resolve system issues
• Work with system administrators and engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education/Training:

• Associate’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline preferred
• Active IAT Level II certification, such as Security+CE, required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Experience:

• 6+ months of professional experience in an IT role
• Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Microsoft Windows required

Security:

• Must be a US citizen

• Candidate must be in possession of a Secret Security Clearance or higher

Physical Requirements:

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
