Field Project Manager

System One is seeking a Field Project Manager in Warrendale, PA to be responsible for delivering projects, managing the designers, providing project documents and contracts after awarded to construction. This is a great opportunity to join a respected client in the engineering and construction services sector!



Important Details:

• Temp for 1 year (w/annual extension options) also with the option to convert direct after a minimum of 520 hours

• Pay rate range: $50 - $55/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Weekly pay

• Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)

• 401k after 30 days

• Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check

• Interviews REQUIRED - via MS Teams

• US Citizenship required

• Must be able to clear the standard USPS background check

 

Specific responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple projects in multiple locations to ensure quality and completion within budget and on schedule

• Managing Architectural/Engineering firms

• Requesting, reviewing, and negotiating fee proposals

• Reviewing design documents for compliance with U.S. Postal Service Standard Design Criteria

• Managing construction contractors

• Preparing bid packages, reviewing and recommending bid awards

• Reviewing, negotiating, and approving change orders

• Requesting project funding

• Conducting site visits for meetings or inspections as necessary

• Closing out completed projects

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• BS degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Management

• 5 years’ professional experience in the design & construction field.
