We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Directional Drilling Operators to join our Livonia, MI-based crew to complete drilling work for our customers. As a new member of our crew, you will become an integral part of our growing team!

What You Will Do:
In this role, you will operate and manage horizontal directional drilling equipment in the telecommunication, gas, water and electric markets. With your expertise, you will need to be able to make quick and accurate judgements to successfully complete drilling projects. You will excavate and trench for upcoming bore projects, assist in potholing and remediation, execute all survey information, confirm with locator/lead the bore path to drill, and assist with setting hand holes and completing tie ins. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is safely maintained and in working order, and then mobilizing equipment to the site and operating in a safe manner. Another responsibility of this position is completing all required administrative paperwork (e.g., daily forms, bore logs, maintenance, and project tracking information). Finally, you may have other responsibilities assigned as needed.

Additional information: Hours are generally 40-60 hours a week (overtime is never guaranteed) and additional hours based upon job needs. May be required to report to multiple different shop locations based on project needs.
