Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented CPA with a background in the advertising or digital marketing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of GAAP and be excited to take ownership of key areas of the accounting process in a fast-paced, creative environment.

As an Accountant, you will report directly to the VP, Corporate Controller, and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities. This role requires strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of GAAP, as you'll support accurate financial reporting and help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Prepare and post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

  • Ensure accurate classification and recording of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities

  • Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations to management

  • Assist in preparing internal financial statements and supporting schedules

  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Support internal and external audit processes, including providing schedules and explanations

  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and FinOps teams to ensure proper coding and transaction completeness

  • Review and maintain accruals, deferrals, and prepaid expenses

  • Monitor compliance with GAAP and internal controls

  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and process improvement initiatives

  • Support ad hoc financial projects, reports, and analyses as requested by management

Things That Should Be in Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience

  • CPA designation preferred

  • Strong technical research skills and accounting knowledge

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP

  • Experience with Sage Intacct preferred

  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications; strong knowledge of Excel required
